About Yuu Kitchen

## The Real Deal

Yuu Kitchen operates on a simple philosophy: proper ramen requires no gimmicks. The 12-seat counter space feels more Osaka backstreet than Shoreditch hype machine, which is exactly the point. Chef Yamashita spent years perfecting his tonkotsu broth, and the resulting bowls achieve that rare alchemy of comfort and complexity.

## What to Order

The tonkotsu ramen is non-negotiable, but the gyoza deserve equal attention. These aren't your average dumplings – each one is pleated by hand and achieves that perfect contrast between crispy bottom and yielding top. The karaage chicken operates as the perfect drinking snack if you're settling in with a few Asahi.

## When and How

Lunch queues stretch down the street, so either arrive early (12pm sharp) or embrace the evening slot when things calm down. No reservations, cash only, and they mean it when they say the kitchen closes at 9pm. The counter seating encourages interaction, so come hungry for both food and conversation.
